Our Services and History
"Take me to Cuba" was founded in 1999 as a photo production services by a mixed Cuban-German team. The idea was to attract European and North American* clients to benefit from the Islands famous year around sunshine and the beauty of cities like the Pearl-of-the-Caribbean Havana.
"Take me to Cuba" provides the complete range of services for advertising agencies, catalogue clients, fashion and car photographers and our producers are fluent in Spanish, English, French and German. But in the first place
we speak "Cuban"
which is managing the "official" Cuba, by providing work visas and temporary importation permits for collection and camera equipment.
Cuba is a great Island to produce. But you need someone to take you by the hand. Especially the first steps are different from what one is used to in other countries. In order to work professionally in Cuba you need a work visa, a so called accreditation. It gives you the peace of mind of being completely legal and welcome, plus it assures the temporary admission of the collection and the photogrpaher´s equipment. To guide you through the easy application is part of our service. And no worries – it is not complicated.
Observations for American Citizens
Americans are very welcome in Cuba. For legal travelling contact your Treasury Department. You can fly through third party countries as Mexico, Canada, Bahamas, Jamaica. Your passport does not bear a stamp or a remark showing that you had been in Cuba.

The richness of Cuban architecture and landscape far surpasses beyond the normally shown impressions as typical run down colonial buildings and tobacco plantations. The 7 Seas Cuba website contains over 5000 photos of recently casted and very accessible locations throughout Cuba. Each boasts its own distinctive beauty.
All capture what make Cuba so spectacularly diverse and inviting. The locations featured herein offer both indoor and outdoor charm and wonderment that call out for further exploration. The photos capture but one scene and one perspective. The possibilities in fact are endless, limited only by one's imagination and creativity.
Havana

The Island
"The most beautiful place I´ve ever been to" was Christopher Columbus´ conclusion after a five week stay during his first trip to "India" in 1492. Rowing up the rivers and studying the waterline, he discovered that no great changes in weather occur, that neither high tides nor storms cause big damages. With 320 days of sun per year it´s the perfect spot for productions that require a clear blue sky and a variety of different natural light throughout the day.Contact
